House on the top of a steep hill with a magnificent view of the Douro River and the "da boneca" mountain on the other side of the river. You can admire the sunrise, listen to birdsong and the sound of leaves as you look out over the olive groves that surround the house. The entrance to the house overlooks a typical cobblestone road.
Nature and surroundings
A 13-minute walk will take you to a small river beach on the banks of the Douro, where you can fish, and to restaurants serving typical dishes. For those who like hiking, there are paths all around the house through the eucalyptus forests. During the summer months, popular festivals are held on the banks of the Douro River.
