Nature house in de Hoef

The kitchen wasn’t very well maintained.
There was no extra roll of toilet paper in the separate bathroom in the kitchen.
There were no trash bags in the trash cans.
Not having a bathroom in the cottage is really inconvenient when you need to use the restroom at night.
The “pool” is a large, inflatable tub. There was a car parked right next to it, and an empty beer bottle by a lounge chair. Here, too, things could have been a bit neater.
When I checked out at 12:00 p.m., no one was there. No note had been left either. This didn’t come across as very welcoming.
I had intended to return the key, but now I had to leave it in the cottage door.
If someone were to break in, what then? Who would be responsible?!

Keuken niet erg verzorgd.
Geen extra rol wc-papier in de aparte toilet in de keuken.
Geen vuilniszakken in de emmers.
Geen wc in het huisje is toch wel erg onhandig als je ‘s nachts naar de wc moet.
Het ‘zwembad’ is een groot, opblaasbaar bad. Er stond een auto pal naast, een leeg bierflesje bij een ligstoel. Ook hier kon het allemaal wat verzorgder.
Bij uitchecken om 12.00 u was er niemand aanwezig. Er was ook geen briefje achtergelaten. Dit kwam niet erg hartelijk over.
De sleutel had ik willen afgeven, maar moest ik nu in de deur van het huisje laten zitten.
Als er ingebroken zou worden, wat dan? Wie is er dan verantwoordelijk?!

The cottage itself was well-maintained. However, there was no trash can.

Landlord’s response:
Our night porter gave the guest an extra roll of toilet paper at 11:00 p.m. For environmental reasons, we do not use plastic bags in the trash cans and separate guests’ trash from the plastic. There are trash cans in the sheepfold for waste; this is to ensure hygiene in the cottages.
If the guest checks out after 11:30 a.m. (as a courtesy), the daytime reception staff may not be present until 2:00 p.m.

Het huisje zelf was verzorgd. Er ontbrak wel een prullenmand.

Reactie verhuurder:
Onze nachtportier heeft de gast een extra rol toiletpapier gegeven om elf uur 's avonds, wij gebruiken ivm milieu geen plastic zakken in de vuilnisbakken en scheiden het afval van de gasten voor het plastic. In de schaapskooi bevinden zich prullenmanden voor vuil, dit tbv de hygiëne in de huisjes
Als de gast na 11.30 uitcheckt( coulance) dan is de dag receptie soms niet aanwezig tot 14.00 uur.

Was nice and quiet first get used to the planes. Veder was fine we have enjoyed.

Was lekker rustig eerst wennen aan de vliegtuigen. Veder was het prima we hebben genoten.

Very nice accommodation. Very small point: the frying pans in the outdoor kitchen need renewal ;-)

Zeer fijne accomodatie. Heel klein puntje: de braadpannen in de buitenkeuken zijn aan vernieuwing toe ;-)

Nice simple place, hospitable owners. Very flexible in terms of arrival and departure times.

Fijn eenvoudig plekje, gastvrije eigenaars. Zeer flexibel qua aankomst- en vertrekuur.
