Welcome to Farmhouse Apartment! Plan your unforgettable trip to beautiful Twente, the country estate of the Netherlands. The nature house is located on a farmyard that was already inhabited in 1615. Less than 50 meters away there is a lovely recreational lake and a piece of private forest where you can enjoy the Twente scenery. The farmyard still houses a real active farm with goats, sheep, horses, chickens and a small nursery. The accommodation is located in a quiet spot on the farmyard and has a number of meeting rooms on the ground floor. On the upper floor you will find a luxury apartment where you can completely relax and have all the comforts. The apartment was built in 2023 in a characteristic barn (former chicken shed). Everything is therefore new!
Nature and surroundings
Your accommodation is on the edge of the yard next to our newly planted food forest. The city of Almelo and Delden with all kinds of cozy stores and restaurants is less than 5 kilometers from the apartment. At 1 kilometer is the village Bornerbroek where you will find a restaurant, a bakery, the neighborhood supermarket and various stores. The largest estate in the Netherlands (Twickel) is about 2 kilometers away. Vast forests, heathland, fens, beautiful farms and a beautiful castle with ditto garden. Our apartment is an ideal base for beautiful walks and cycling through Twente.
