Our farm is a typical Lippe farm from 1874 and invites you with five apartments and two guest rooms in individual design for a relaxing country vacation or family reunion. The historic barn with piano offers space for convivial evenings with the group or other guests. Outside, you can relax in one of the lounge groups or enjoy al fresco meals or barbecues at one of the three outdoor seating areas. Apartment 3 is located on the top floor with a view of the courtyard. With its 3 bedrooms (1 double bed + 1 single bed, 2 single beds, 1 queen-size bed), spacious eat-in kitchen and bathroom with separate toilet, it can accommodate 7 people. We are happy to offer wild herb afternoons on our beautiful natural grounds, followed by cooking together over a fire on our plancha. On request, alpaca walks can also be organized via a friendly farm.
Nature and surroundings
The farm is located on the edge of the small village of Heidelbeck in the idyllic Kalletal valley, nestled between the Teutoburg Forest and the Weserbergland. From here you can start great hiking tours and always enjoy impressive views. In spring, the Bärenkopf route impresses with a colorful spectacle during the larch spur blossom and the nearby Luhbach spring is surrounded by imposing glacial erratic blocks. The Patensteig trail in Extertal offers a varied route with three small waterfalls. Cyclists rave about the Weser cycle path, which is around 10 km away. The Schillathöhle, the northernmost stalactite cave in Germany, impresses with a fairytale forest of sparkling crystals, shining stones and rock paintings. The Waldbaden-Pfad (forest bathing trail) with 10 stations and a wishing tree, just 200 m from the Eichenhof Kalletal, invites you to relax. We are happy to organize an appointment with a trained forest bathing instructor on request.

Charmaine General rating:What makes this stay truly memorable is how it lingers with you afterwards. The combination of history, nature, comfort, and genuine hospitality creates an experience that feels both grounding and uplifting. It’s not just a place to stay, but a place to connect – with the past, with nature, and with yourself.
Nature, peace & environment:had the most memorable stay at this beautiful house built in 1824, tucked away in the heart of a forest. The property itself feels like stepping back in time, with its historic charm perfectly preserved, yet offering all the comfort one could wish for.
The host was absolutely amazing – warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, making me feel right at home. Breakfast was a highlight: delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and the perfect start to each day.
Everything about the experience was unforgettable – from the serene forest setting to the cozy atmosphere and the outstanding hospitality. A true hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone looking for peace, beauty, and a memorable getaway.
