This spacious, new barn home is a tastefully decorated unit with comfortable XL sofas and TV. At the 2 large dining tables you can enjoy long after-dinner meals and/or games. The open kitchen with island ensures that everyone is involved in the group. The kitchen includes a quooker, a 5-burner stove, oven and microwave to make the most delicious dishes. Through the French doors you come outside to a terrace with tables and chairs. You can even go fishing in the ditch next to the house. On the ground floor are 3 bedrooms, 1 of which is adapted for the disabled. They are spacious bedrooms with on the first floor 3 bedrooms with 2 x single beds. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms with 3 - 4 beds. All 7 bedrooms have private shower and toilet facilities. They are furnished with 1 person box spring beds, ranging from 2 to 4 beds per bedroom. The whole house is heated by (floor and wall) heating.
Nature and surroundings
This characterful barn house fits completely into the style of the rural, wooded surroundings of Bakkeveen. Because of its location in the green, on the edge of a nature and landscape campsite and opposite a nature reserve, walking and cycling are among the possibilities. The surroundings are spacious and quiet. For the children there is a playground with a climbing house, sandbox, swings and a trampoline and other play attributes. There is an indoor stay where at set times you can play pool, darts, shuffleboard, read. The campground has a fishing pond, a bocce court and a field where you can play soccer or volleyball. On the camping grounds there are also animals such as horses and ponies, goats and chickens. Bakkeveen is a tourist village, with accompanying restaurants and activities. It has an outdoor swimming pool and is famous for its monthly flea market. Group activities can also be organized in Bakkeveen: maze park, e-choppers, miniature golf and Outdoor activities.
