Nature house in Norg

The vacation home is well-equipped. During our stay, water damage suddenly occurred in the bathroom, causing a continuous drip from the ceiling. The hosts did respond, but their handling of the situation wasn't particularly professional.

Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet. Im Bad ist während des Aufenthalts plötzlich ein Wasserschaden aufgetreten, der zu einem kontinuierlichen Tropfen von der Decke führte. Gastgeber haben zwar reagiert, aber besonders professionell war es nicht.

As I said, the double beds are a bit on the soft side. Other than that, they're perfect.

We spent a long weekend with friends at this cottage during a heat wave. Well, if there’s anywhere to be during weather like that, it’s here, right in the middle of a forest surrounded by tall trees. No, the cottage doesn’t have air conditioning, but that wasn’t necessary if you’re smart enough to keep the doors and windows closed during the hottest part of the day and open the windows—which have screens to keep out the mosquitoes—in the evening and at night.
A wonderfully large garden where you can always sit in the shade if you want to, but also always in the sun.
The bathroom was also very neat, with a separate shower and toilet.
Otherwise, the cottage was very clean and well-equipped. A comprehensive set of pots, pans, and cooking utensils—all in excellent condition. We just found the two double beds a bit too soft, but that’s a matter of personal preference. The single beds are a bit firmer, I heard from my friends, and they preferred those.

Lang weekend met vrienden in dit huisje, tijdens een hittegolf. Nou, als je ergens moet zitten tijdens zulk weer is het hier, middenin een bos met lange bomen om je heen. Nee het huisje heeft geen airco, maar dat hoefde ook niet als je een beetje slim tijdens het heetst van de dag deuren en ramen gesloten houdt en in de avond en nacht de ramen openzet die horren hebben tegen de muggen.
Heerlijk grote tuin waardoor je altijd in de schaduw kan zitten als je dat wil maar ook altijd in de zon.
Sanitair ook heel keurig, met gescheiden douche en toilet.
Verder was het huisje ook heel netjes en goed uitgerust. Uitgebreide set pannen en kookgerei, heel netjes. We vonden alleen de twee tweepersoons bedden wat te zacht, maar dat is persoonlijke voorkeur. De eenspersoons bedden zijn wat steviger begreep ik van m'n vrienden, die bevielen hen beter.

Prachtig huisje, super compleet, prachtig gelegen en sfeervol aangekleed.

It was a great week in a beautiful cottage, super clean, complete (the kitchen is equipped with all materials, there are indoor and outdoor toys for the children). In the middle of the forest, we enjoyed the walks, crossing through the woods, making fire in the garden (there is a large fire basket) and the silence and (pitch) darkness. Also nearby Norg offers everything you need. In short, a place that I recommend to everyone and prefer to keep undiscovered :)

Het was een geweldige week in een prachtig huisje, super netjes, compleet (de keuken is van alle materialen voorzien, er is binnen- en buitenspeelgoed voor de kinderen). Middenin het bos, we hebben genoten van de wandelingen, het crossen door de bossen, vuur maken in de tuin (er is een grote vuurkorf) en de stilte en (pik)donkerte. Ook het nabij gelegen Norg biedt alles wat je nodig hebt. Kortom, een plek die ik iedereen aanraad én liever onontdekt houd :)
