Nice cottage, clean and the stove was on when we arrived. Cottage is complete.Unfortunately on arrival the cottage also smelled very much like sewer, we thought this is because it might have been vacant for a while...but after 2 days still a lot of stench so reported it to the owner. They would send someone. Also there was possibly a bee nest between the roof and the bedroom wall. This caused us to hear a lot of buzzing and scratching at night. Furthermore, the stairs up are very steep and narrow, which was a bit exciting as I am pregnant. The garden was beautifully sunny and we enjoyed the birds and squirrels. All in all we had an excellent stay with unfortunately some downsides.

Helaas stonk bij aankomst het huisje ook erg naar riool, wij dachten dit komt omdat het misschien even leeg stond...maar na 2 dagen nog steeds veel stank dus aangegeven bij de eigenaar. Die zouden iemand sturen. Blijkbaar is er iemand langs geweest toen wij er niet waren.
Ook zat er mogelijk een bijennest tussen het dak en de slaapkamer muur. Hierdoor hoorde wij snachts veel gezoem en gekras.
Verder is de trap omhoog erg stijl en smal, wat een beetje spannend was aangezien ik zwanger ben. Dit was ook niet op de foto's zichtbaar, dus neem dit mee als je slechter te been bent.
De tuin was mooi zonnig en wij hebben van de vogels en de Eekhoorns genoten. Al om al een prima verblijf gehad met helaas wel wat minpunten.Beautiful surroundings, quiet.
