The Thyme and Lavender Lodges are located in Neuenweg in the Kleine Wiesental valley at the foot of the Belchen in the southern Black Forest. Hiking and cycling trails start right outside the door, the Belchen cable car as well as Freiburg, Feldberg and the border triangle are within easy reach. The cozy log cabin-style lodges offer 55 m² of space for up to 4 people. Facilities include two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with shower/WC, an open-plan living area with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, Wi-Fi, TV with free TV, private terrace and private parking. Beautifully and lovingly furnished and with a great breakfast - but unfortunately no seclusion or peace and quiet, hardly any basic facilities (no toilet paper, bin bags, tea, oil, etc.), severe restrictions on whirlpool & sauna, no privacy at all due to frequent access by others via the terrace, noisy and rather controlling atmosphere. Unfortunately not recommended for nature and freedom lovers.
Wunderschön liebevoll eingerichtet und mit tollem Frühstück — aber leider keine Abgeschiedenheit oder Ruhe, kaum Grundausstattung (kein Toilettenpapier, Müllbeutel, Tee, Öl, etc.), starke Einschränkungen bei Whirlpool & Sauna, keinerlei Privatsphäre durch häufigen Zugang anderer über Terrasse, hellhörig und eher kontrollierende Atmosphäre. Für Natur- und Freiheitsliebende leider keine Empfehlung.
