Atmospheric cozy camping bliss in a spacious spot in the woods. This 1964 Otten caravan has been lovingly refurbished and also features nostalgic retro details in the interior. The pop-up roof lets in a lot of light and is fitted with mosquito netting. Cooking can be done in 2 places: both inside and outside a 2-burner stove. The covered outdoor kitchen is also equipped with a refrigerated chest. Two loose chairs with cushions are also at your disposal. Hammock + fire pit.Suitable for alone or two where you have the choice of sleeping together or each separately. The double bed is as to be expected in an oldtimer not kingsize ;) We have several cool camping creations in this part of the forest, so plenty of choice to make a combo.
Nature and surroundings
The large forest is a Nature campground. Regularly you can join us for a fresh meal, breakfast also possible in season. You can also rent a wood-fired sauna on the edge of Lake Pingo where you can also enjoy floating in one of the loan boats. The area offers plenty of places to explore. Hondsrug area, Geopark with Unesco status. Forests, lakes, farmlands and quaint villages. City Assen, Emmen and Groningen are reached within half an hour.
