Nature house in Rekem Lanaken

Communication and the key handoff with the owner, Bert, were very pleasant. Everything was explained clearly during the tour. It quickly became clear that we could have left a lot of our belongings at home. There are games, books, coffee, tea, spices, oil, cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, plenty of kitchen linens, and towels—in short, it’s a fully equipped cottage. And the air conditioning kept the temperature inside comfortable. Outside, there are several places to sit in the spacious, fenced-in yard. The beds were great, and we slept wonderfully. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

De communicatie en de sleutel overdracht met eigenaar Bert was zeer aangenaam. Alles werd tijdens de rondleiding goed uitgelegd. Al snel bleek dat we veel spulletjes thuis hadden kunnen laten. Er zijn spelletjes, boeken koffie, thee, kruiden, olie, schoonmaakmiddelen, vaatwascapsules, wc-papier, voldoende keukenlinnen, handdoeken; enfin het is een supercompleet huisje. En de airco zorgde voor een aangename temperatuur binnen. Buiten kun je op verschillende plekken zitten in de ruime, afsluitbare tuin. Bedden waren prima en we hebben heerlijk geslapen. Al met al een heel fijn verblijf!

A beautiful and peaceful park

Mooi en rustig park

The park is quiet and beautifully green, with lots of trees. We had a wonderful time. Communication with the friendly owner went very well and smoothly.

Het park is rustig, mooi groen met veel bomen. Wij hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad. Communicatie met de vriendelijke eigenaar verliep prima en vlot.

Clean and fully equipped; plenty of coffee, tea, and sugar. Plenty of seating areas around the cottage, with both sunny and shaded spots to sit. The cottage has a smart layout. The mattresses were comfortable. There’s air conditioning inside, which was great since we stayed there during the hottest week in June (39°).

Schoon en van alle apparatuur voorzien, koffie/thee/suiker ruim voldoende aanwezig. Voldoende zitjes rondom het huisje met zon of schaduw plekken om te zitten. Het huisje is slim ingedeeld. Matrassen waren goed. Binnen is airco; dat was super daar wij er in de heetste week in juni (39°) verbleven.

Great place for winding down and relaxing in nature. Peaceful surroundings and plenty of things especiallly hiking and biking nearby. Reaching to the place is very easy and the cottage is well maintained and owner/caretaker very friendly and accomodative.

Very pleasant stay. Situated right in the heart of nature. beautiful surroundings and cosy little cottage. we were three with our dog that was a bit too tight in this cottage but we maanged and it was still fun. So the cottage is perfect for a family of three
Well maintained and had all the facilities needed. Very friendly caretaker who lives in the neighbourhood and was available for any questions immediately. Plenty of places for hiking and eating out. Although weather was gloomy and rainy during our stay but we maanged to do nice hiking and walk around whenever the opportunity presented itself. Nice lake neaby for swimming and just relaxing. Ideal place for dog walking as well and our dog was very happy.
