This beautiful yurt is located on a cozy mini campsite in the Dutch province of Drenthe. From the yurt you can walk straight into the forest, and the campsite is only 2 km from the center of Emmen. It is an ideal place for a weekend getaway or a short vacation.The yurt is equipped with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed with a good mattress, which can also be pulled out for an extra sleeping place. In total, the yurt can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival, the beds are already made. There is also a small refrigerator, a Nespresso machine and a kettle. Running water is available in the yurt. For cooking you can use the campsite's covered outdoor kitchen, where you will find all the necessary cooking utensils. Upon arrival you will receive a basket with coffee, tea and kitchen linen. Even in winter it is comfortable to stay in the yurt, thanks to the wood/pellet stove.
Nature and surroundings
In addition to beautiful hiking and biking routes, Emmen and its surroundings offer numerous activities. Visit one of the dolmens nearby, enjoy a terrace in the cozy center of Emmen, or stroll through the largest market in Drenthe on Fridays. The Rensenpark, the former zoo, has been transformed into a beautiful park with several attractions such as the center for visual arts, a Tibetan museum, and sometimes an outdoor art exhibition. There are also play areas for children and a real English tea house where you can have something to eat or drink. Of course, the famous zoo Adventure Zoo Wildlands in Emmen is also worth a visit. In short, everything is there for a wonderful stay!
