On a unique location in the middle of the Green Heart are our two new Boerenbuurt cottages. With an unobstructed view of the Dutch polder landscape. From the veranda you can enjoy the peace and space of polder Stein. The cottages are located in a so-called geriefbosje and are about 200 meters from our farm. On some days the cows literally walk in front of your door. These Tiny houses are equipped for two people, but you could stay there with 4 people. Our farm is located between Haastrecht and Gouda, two places that are easily accessible by bicycle or on foot (Haastrecht). If necessary, you can also rent (electric) bicycles from us. The Gouda Goverwelle train station is only 10 minutes away. From this station you can be in the center of Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague and Leiden within an hour. Unique for those who want to combine a stay in a quiet location with the culture of the big cities.
Nature and surroundings
From the cottages you can take beautiful walks or bike rides in the polder environment. Go cycling or walking around the Reeuwijkse Plassen, cycling to the windmills in Kinderdijk or make a tour along Gouda, Schoonhoven and Oudewater, three beautiful old cities. Or enjoy the polder landscape in the Krimpenerwaard.The cottages are located near our camper place. For all guests there is a small site store, with the Farmers Ice Cream of our farmer neighbors from Stein. Furthermore, of course, cheese, drinks and the Boerentrots beers. In Haastrecht you will find seven different eateries, one of which is open every day. There is also a baker, a butcher and a supermarket. So you stay in the middle of the polder, but have all amenities nearby.
