Nature house in Oeudeghien

This vacation rental is part of a renovated farmhouse, surrounded by nature and woods in the Pays des Collines. With an eye for detail and aesthetics, we transformed old stables into a cozy vacation home. We used primarily natural materials and sought to strike a balance between preserving authentic elements and adding a contemporary touch. The gîte features an open living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate toilet, a bathroom, and three bedrooms, one of which is on an open mezzanine. Outside, there’s a terrace and a private garden area, but you’re also always welcome to enjoy our private garden, vegetable garden, and orchard. For children, there’s a sandbox, an outdoor kitchen, a swing, and a slide... The gîte is rented as a vacation home; guests are responsible for providing their own bed linens and bath towels. The cottage is surrounded by nature and woods. No other houses are visible from the cottage. You can easily spot deer, birds of prey, and small forest creatures there. The entire property covers 3 hectares. In addition to the many other hiking and biking trails, the GR trail also passes through the area here (including trail junctions). Nearby towns worth visiting include Vloesberg, Ath, Tournai, and Mons. Pari Daiza, De Gavers (water fun), and The Outsider Oudenaarde (water sports, high ropes courses, adventure tours, etc.) are all within a 30-minute drive of the gîte. The gîte is located near several nature parks, such as Les Bassins de Frasnes, where you can enjoy walks and spot waterfowl. Shops, bakeries, butchers, and local merchants are all within a 10-minute drive. In the gîte’s private garden—which flows into a 2-hectare orchard—you’ll find a barbecue grill with a fire pit; on the terrace in front of the gîte, there’s a patio fireplace with barbecue facilities.
