We really enjoyed our stay at The Woods! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. Tatjana and Michael are warm, attentive hosts who really go out of their way for their guests. During the hot days, Tatjana even came up with the wonderful idea of filling the hot tub with cold water so we could cool off. That kind of personal attention really makes all the difference.
The off-grid wellness cabin is a special place where you can completely unwind. In the middle of nature, surrounded by birds, greenery, and silence. It’s impressive just how comfortable off-grid living can be. The sauna, the hot tub, and the beautiful garden made it all perfect. Our dog also clearly enjoyed all the space and the wonderful walking trails.
The instructions we received beforehand were clear and comprehensive.
We also appreciated the explanation of the off-grid system and energy consumption. Everything was arranged with great care, right down to the welcome package.
We look back on an unforgettable stay.

Wat hebben wij genoten van ons verblijf in The Woods! Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. Tatjana en Michael zijn warme, betrokken hosts die echt met hun gasten meedenken. Tijdens de warme dagen kwam Tatjana zelfs met het fijne idee om de hottub met koud water te vullen, zodat we heerlijk konden afkoelen. Zo'n persoonlijke aandacht maakt echt het verschil.
Het off-grid wellnesshuisje is een bijzondere plek waar je volledig tot rust komt. Midden in de natuur, omringd door vogels, groen en stilte. Het is indrukwekkend hoe comfortabel off-grid kan zijn. De sauna, de hottub en de prachtige tuin maakten het helemaal af. Ook onze hond heeft zichtbaar genoten van alle ruimte en de mooie wandelmogelijkheden.
De uitleg vooraf was duidelijk en compleet.
Leuk vonden we ook de uitleg over het off-grid systeem en het energieverbruik. Alles was met veel zorg geregeld, tot aan het welkomstpakket.
Wij kijken terug op een onvergetelijke dagen.
We komen graag terug!

Beautiful place, very quiet, although the birds are quite noisy. On the first day, there was a roe deer in the garden.

The only downside was that the sauna had been moved, leaving a bare patch in the grass, and the pond was almost empty. But none of that was a big deal.

What’s really awesome is that you can take a dump with a view of the field from the second outdoor toilet.

Even more brilliant—and absolutely amazing—is taking a dip in the hot tub outside in the woods.

You can also walk around bare-assed, draw pictures, and completely lose yourself in nature!

Highly recommended.

Mooie plek, heel stil, al zijn de vogels echte druktemakers. De eerste dag stond er een ree in de tuin.

Enige minpuntje was de verhuizing van de sauna waardoor er een kale plek was in het gras, en de vijver was bijna leeg. Maar dat was allemaal niet heel erg verder.

Wat echt geniaal is, is dat je kan kakken met uitzicht op het veld op de 2e wc buiten.

Nog genialer en helemaal mega om in het bubbelbad te gaan buiten in het bos.

Ook kan je lekker aan je blote kont rondlopen, tekeningen maken en helemaal opgaan in de natuur!

Echt een aanrader.

Netjes gemaakt, alles aanwezig. Zelfs scherp keukengerei. Heel fijn!

In the middle of nature; no noise from autos or other noises.

Midden in de natuur; geen lawaai van autos of andere geluiden.

A cottage in the middle of nature. Waking up to the chirping of the birds. Sit on the terrace and be surprised by a deer. And yet all the amenities close by.

Een huisje midden in de natuur. Wakker worden met het getjilp van de vogels. Heerlijk op het terras zitten en verrast worden door een hertje. En toch alle voorzieningen dicht in de buurt.
