Beautiful mobile homes perfect for escaping the everyday hustle and bustle. The mobile home is located between the trees on a small campsite on our farm in the outskirts of Broek in Waterland. This cottage is the perfect get away for the traveler alone, but you can also relax together! At the campsite you seem to be closed off from the farm and the rest of the outside world and you will stay here mostly (almost) alone. Back to basics, no WiFi and no TV but a lot of nature, waking up with the birds and having breakfast outside! You will find peace when you walk around the campsite and you can walk and cycle endlessly from the yard or go for a tour by whisper boat or canoe. Visitors are no problem with a tent in the garden (book other costs), we can put it down if necessary. Dogs are not allowed. We have no luxury facilities on the campsite and are not equipped for children.
Nature and surroundings
Imagine yourself in the South of France in a unique location just 15 car minutes from Amsterdam Center. The bus stops in the village and from the stop you can walk to us in half an hour or we can pick you up. At the mobile homes you imagine yourself in the forest and when you walk out of the yard you are among the meadows. The campsite itself is full of all kinds of fruit bushes and trees and right by the mobile homes is a vegetable garden from which you can harvest. There are numerous routes for walking or cycling through the surrounding villages in Waterland and along the Markermeer. The Trekvogelpad runs right past the farm! Prima ervaring!
We spent 2 nights in the Blue Tit in mid-May. The weather wasn't that great but in between the showers we had a nice walk through the polder - enjoyed all the birds - and were able to kayak one morning. Even though the rental was actually closed, after a phone call they were kind enough to put 2 kayaks out for us to take. Bonnie was readily available for questions before and during our stay, fresh eggs we were also allowed to grab. The toilet block on site is basic but everything works fine and the shower is nice and hot. Quiet campsite, nice and relaxing. Just one of those places where people still trust each other and just wish you a wonderful time. If you like that, this is the place to be!
We hebben 2 nachtjes in de Pimpelmees doorgebracht, half mei. Net even niet zulk geweldig weer maar tussen de buitjes door een lekkere wandeling door de polder gemaakt - genoten van alle vogels - en een ochtend kunnen kayakken. Ook al was de verhuur eigenlijk dicht, na een telefoontje waren ze zo lief om 2 kayaks voor ons neer te leggen die we zelf mochten pakken. Bonnie was voor en tijdens ons verblijf goed bereikbaar voor vragen, verse eitjes mochten we ook pakken. Het toiletblok op het terrein is basic maar alles werkt prima en de douche is lekker warm. Rustige camping, lekker even bijkomen. Gewoon zo'n plek waar de mensen elkaar nog gewoon vertrouwen en je gewoon een heerlijke tijd wensen. Als je daarvan houdt zit je hier helemaal goed!
