This unique accommodation has a style all its own. Rural, cozy, the old beams in the upstairs bedroom give a romantic feel, beautiful views of Gein with floodplains, meadows with the church towers of Abcoude in the distance. Outside on the terrace enjoying the beautiful place, in the middle of nature yet so close to Amsterdam. The old barn has been converted into beautiful apartments, in the style and colors of our farm which makes everything a beautiful unique whole. The accommodation is located on the grounds of our modern dairy farm. Instead of a double bed we can also provide 2 single beds. Please indicate before your arrival. Not suitable for children under 12 years, maximum 2 persons. No pets. Accessible by car or bicycle (most ideal). Walking distance: Abcoude train station 3,6 km. Subway station Gein 3.3 km. From there no public transport to our address.
Nature and surroundings

Jeroen August 22, 2025 General rating:It was quite noisy. The neighbors in the adjoining nature house were easy to hear. Response of the landlord: Because this is the first time in the years that we rent out the cottages that we had a complaint about noise at the cottages we contacted Jeroen. It turned out that it was not so much about the cottage itself, but more about the guests in the cottage next door who made quite a lot of noise. Unfortunately there is not much we can do about that and fortunately this is an exception. We ask our guests to be considerate of other guests.
Het was nogal gehorig. De buren in het aangrenzende natuurhuisje waren goed te horen.

Omdat dit de eerste keer is in de jaren dat we de huisjes verhuren dat we een klacht hadden over gehorigheid bij de huisjes even contact gehad met Jeroen. Het bleek niet zo zeer om het huisje zelf te gaan, maar meer om de gasten in het huisje ernaast die nogal veel lawaai maakten. Daar kunnen we helaas niet veel aan doen en gelukkig is dit dus een uitzondering.
