This spacious, fully furnished 31m² tent is ready for you to move right in at a small, child-friendly mini-campground with 4 rental tents, 1 camping bungalow, and 18 campsites. Fully equipped kitchen, including a coffee maker, electric kettle, refrigerator, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, and glassware The tent is set up for 6 people; there are 4 standard beds in the sleeping cabins with comforters and pillows, and 2 extra beds or cots can be added. Under the 8 m² awning, you can sit outside on a garden chair and/or at a picnic table even in inclement weather. The tent is located on a field where other campers can also set up their own camping gear. Thanks to the low vegetation, there’s a clear view of the playground, which includes a sandbox and a trampoline. You will need to bring your own linens: fitted sheets (70x200 or 140x200), pillowcases, duvet covers, towels, and dish towels. For a baby under 2 years old, the tourist tax of 1.45 per person per night must be paid on site.
Nature and surroundings
Our mini-campground is a small, quiet campground with sweeping views of the countryside. Aalden is located in Drenthe, in the center of the triangle formed by Emmen, Hoogeveen, and Assen. The campground is within walking distance of the Drenthe Golf Club de Gelpenberg. A unique location for anyone who loves nature. There are several beautiful cycling, horseback riding, and hiking trails that wind past Saxon-style farms and folkloric landmarks. Around Aalden, you’ll find the “Aelder Rondomme” and the “Dichtersroute,” featuring 20 poems by poets from Drenthe. For enthusiasts, there’s a lovely MTB route through Sleen, Aalden, and Schoonoord. For dog lovers, there’s an off-leash area in nearby Mepperdennen. You can enjoy a lovely swim in the small lake in the forest at Witteveen, a beautiful natural spot formed by a former sand quarry. The neighboring village of Zweeloo has an outdoor swimming pool. In the village of Aalden, you’ll find various amenities, including a bakery, a supermarket, and several restaurants and cafes.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
