In the center of the monument village of Orvelte is our thatched Saxon farmhouse from 1759. The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom and a central living room. In the morning we serve breakfast (optional extra booking) at a long table in this living room. Coffee, tea and fruit are free. The Senseo coffee machine and kettle are on the refrigerator. Drinks and snacks are available for a fee.
Nature and surroundings
Orvelte is one of the most beautiful esdorpen in the Netherlands and was founded as early as the 10th century. The monumental farms and streets paved with cobblestones and old bricks give the village a unique nostalgic atmosphere. In and around Orvelte is much to experience, art and culture and plenty of recreation. From the B & B you can walk or bike right into nature. We have several walking and cycling routes ready for you, but to get even more inspiration is a visit to the TIP (Tourist Information Point), which is opposite our B & B. In short, a wonderful, central location in the beautiful Drenthe to get away from it all.
