Join us for peace and quiet in the countryside of Drenthe. In this rural nature house you will enjoy stunning views, meadows, a jungle of birds and birdies, sheep or horses. In the night the landscape changes for a view of the Milky Way. A wonderful place to unwind, that is wide-open accommodation. Wake up in peace and comfort. Open the veranda door and hear the birds or, with luck, a deer at your door. Coffee, tea, wine, beer, a good book, lazing, cycling and walking, everything is possible, nothing has to. Of course in all comfort.
Nature and surroundings
Your nature house is located both in the national nature park the Drentsche Aa and also in the Geopark the Hondsrug. Hiking trails, cycling routes, mountain biking or touring by motorcycle, all from your own cottage. A round Zwanemeer starts in front of your cottage. More focused on experiences or museums? The tree crown path and the Hunebed museum are just two examples of the many possibilities. Recreational lake 't Nije Hemelriekje is a twenty minute bike ride or faster by car. Many small hamlets and villages nearby, each with its own charm: Eext, Annen, Rolde and Zuidlaren. But also some larger cities like Groningen and Assen are easily reached by car.
