It’s a nice little house—basic, but just fine.
Unfortunately, it’s not on a quiet street—there’s quite a bit of traffic. You can also clearly hear traffic from Quellestrasse and the B265. This is especially annoying if you want to sleep in. It’s a farming area, so there are also large machines driving around.
Unfortunately, sitting outside wasn’t very pleasant. The cherries are falling from the tree at this time of year, and since it’s an old tree—and therefore tall—harvesting the cherries is difficult. On the other hand, there was another spot to sit, but because that part of the garden isn’t well-maintained, we couldn’t sit there comfortably. In short, the two gardens have the potential to become wonderful places to sit in all seasons, as long as they’re properly maintained. We didn’t find spending a day at home to be a relaxing experience.
The cottage is otherwise fine, though it can sometimes be difficult for tall people to avoid bumping their heads on the door frames.
The owners do make sure you feel right at home.

Helaas niet in een rustig straatje, toch veel verkeer. Ook vanuit de Quellestrasse en de B265 is het verkeer duidelijk te horen. Dit vooral verevelend als je lekker wilt uitslapen. Het is een landbouw gebied, dus er rijden ook grote machines rond.
Helaas was buitenzitten niet lekker. De kersen vallen in deze periode uit de boom en omdat het een oude boom is en dus hoog is kersen oogsten lastig. Aan de andere kant was ook plek om te zitten, omdat dit stuk tuin niet goed wordt onderhouden, konden we daar niet lekker zitten. Kortom, de twee tuinen hebben de potentie om voor alle seizoenen heerlijke zitplekken te worden als het onderhoud maar uitgevoerd. wordt. Lekker een dagje thuisblijven hebben wij niet als ontspannen ervaren.
Het huisje is verder prima, alleen voor lange mensen is het soms lastig om de deurposten te vermijden.
De eigenaren zorgen er wel voor dat je, je direct thuis voelt.

Het is een mooi gerestaureerd huisje dat zeer smaakvol is ingericht. Er is veel zorg besteed om het je zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Met veel uitleg door het huisje heen.
Met warm weer is het heerlijk toeven in de tuin met veel schaduw.
De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam en hebben goede tips over wat er te doen is in de omgeving.

The cottage in traditional craftsmanship is furnished with care and much taste, there is a lot of light through the windows and everything is very well maintained. It has a lot of atmosphere and you can completely relax (no wifi, no TV but there is a library and music system.) You can bike or walk in the neighborhood, but there is also a lot of culture to discover in the area.

Het huisje in traditioneel vakwerk is met zorg en veel smaak ingericht, er valt veel licht door de ramen en alles is zeer goed onderhouden. Het heeft erg veel sfeer en je kan er helemaal tot rust komen (geen wifi, geen tv maar wel een bibliotheek en muziekinstallatie.)
Je kan fietsen of wandelen in de buurt, maar er valt ook veel cultuur te ontdekken in de omgeving.
