Our Swedish vacation home (130 m² of living space) is situated in the quiet and unspoiled countryside at the northern tip of Värmland. The house is detached and located near the Klaralven River. The access road is in good condition, even in winter. This charming, modern, and cozy Swedish vacation home can accommodate 8 people. The living room features a large wood stove and a comfortable XL lounge sofa with a big TV (Dutch channels). From the living room, you step out onto the large porch, where you can sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful view of the hills. Part of the porch is covered, and part of the yard is fenced in, allowing your dog to run freely. The kitchen is spacious (refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, stovetop, oven, microwave, bread maker, air fryer, slow cooker, and Jura coffee machine) and features a dining table and a wood-burning stove/oven (not in use). There is a separate dining room. One of the bedrooms offers a good workspace.

In addition to beautiful wooded landscapes with waterfalls, the immediate area offers a variety of outdoor activities. These include rafting, canoeing, off-road tours, moose safaris, fishing, dog-sledding, downhill skiing, and cross-country skiing. And, of course, there’s wonderful (mountain) hiking in beautiful forests with scenic views and waterfalls. You’ll regularly spot moose here—sometimes even in your backyard! It’s also a great place for biking and mountain biking. In winter, it’s perfect for snowshoeing. Rafting and canoeing are available within a 30-minute drive. Cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and dog-sledding are 20 minutes away. The 4WD tours and moose safaris are just 10 minutes away. The Branas ski resort (22 km of slopes) is 20 minutes away, while the Trysill ski resort (Norway, 45 km of slopes) and Salen (45 km of slopes) are an hour and just over an hour’s drive, respectively. You can also book directly (which is more affordable). A supermarket, gas station, electric car charging station (300 kWh), and ATM are all a 10-minute drive away.
