Beautiful large white bell tent that you can easily sleep four adults in. Your bed consists of a real mattress on a pellet bed lying on a floor. We love nature and animals and space. No raked terrain but a small campsite with 4 tents in the bowl of an old dune. A place to make fire, shared outdoor kitchen with inventory and simple functional sanitary facilities. There is an inground trampoline, and plenty of room to play and explore outside. You can walk straight into the nature reserve and to the Mok Bay. We are within walking distance of the boat so leave the car and come on foot or by bike. We do have a few spots for a car.
Nature and surroundings
The resort is located on a spacious and well-sheltered lot and is fully equipped with all amenities. Do not expect luxury but beautiful nature. Our accommodations offer privacy, comfort and a touch of adventure. There is room to play and explore, but also to laze around like the best. The holiday resort is surrounded by the Mokbaai, De Petten and Horsmeertjes nature reserves, allowing you to walk right into the spoonbill and sandwich tern feeding areas. This makes us a great accommodation for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Also when you want to explore Texel with your family, Mokbaai is the ideal accommodation. Stroll along the endless Texel beaches or indulge in one of its many local restaurants. The island also caters to culture. Visit Museum Kaap Skil or the impressive nature center Ecomare. The tent I was staying in was spacious and wind- and waterproof. However, it was dirty when I arrived. The kitchen is very basic, as are the bathroom facilities.
