Nature and surroundings
Go for a walk with the alpacas—after following a fun route mapped out by farmer Daisy, you can set off on your own and have adventures with Bruut, Bob, and/or Boris. Play soccer, jump on the trampoline, and swing in the play barn—you can do it all here! Help bring the cows in from the pasture, feed the calves milk, and help feed all the other animals. Give pony Saartje and Roest the donkey a hug. You’ll also find several tents on our farm. In the farm shop, you’ll find fresh rolls, milk, eggs, and local products every day. After a full day, you’ll gather around the wood stove to cook together. Dine by candlelight, and at the end of the day, climb into your cozy bed or box bed—tired but satisfied—or maybe relax together in the hot tub first?!

Actually, everything was pretty much perfectly arranged. Fine accommodation for a larger group. Pleasant balance between simplicity and comfort.
Eigenlijk was alles zo goed als perfect geregeld. Fijne accommodatie voor een grotere groep. Aangename balans tussen eenvoud en comfort.
Warm welcome. Nice, helpful people. Pleasant mix of simplicity and comfort. Beautiful surroundings. Nice space to spend the weekend with a group of friends. We had booked the "hot tub" and did not regret it. Highly recommended.
Hartelijke ontvangst. Aardige, behulpzame mensen. Aangename mix van eenvoud en comfort. Mooie omgeving.

The barn was extremely cozy and large enough for our group. The large wood stove, lanterns, Christmas lights and wooden furnishings with cloths as ceilings made it very cozy. The decor is otherwise basic with only cold tap water, very little light, cozy but small (for tall people) bedsteads and drafts in the front corner room. Also because it is very noisy with 2 toilets (with squeaky doors) between the wooden rooms and with 2 babies who were not top notch, we did not sleep well. When the wood stove goes out it cools down considerably and it takes a while before the room is pleasantly warm again. It was nice that we could rent pizzarettes and a 2nd crib. Tip: bring some electric slippers. All in all it was a great stay for us but we would not book this again in winter.
We were there on a weekend when the whole of the Netherlands had already been under the spell of snow, ice, wind and cold for a week. Unfortunately this meant that we saw little of the surroundings and the hot tub, which was in the wind, was also not attractive. The immediate area (yard) does offer a lot of fun for children; animals, trampo, go-karts etc. However, we were 10 adults and 2 babies. The rest was fine and so was the space outside with a covered area, a store, a shower building, a kitchenette with oven and microwave, plenty of logs and 3 parking spaces.

Because it was very cold, finding the right way was a bit of a challenge, but it was wonderful.
The peace was wonderful, the surroundings beautiful and the reception very welcoming and warm
