Our brand-new (2024) vacation home and B&B is located on the outskirts of Schalkwijk (Utrecht). From the house, you look out onto our pasture where two horses and a pony graze in the summer. On our property, there is an orchard with various (heirloom) fruit varieties. Our guests are welcome to help themselves to the fruit during harvest season. There are two bedrooms. The larger bedroom has a double bed, and from there you can access a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. This bed can be separated into two single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher, combination microwave, and Nespresso machine. There is a full bathroom and a separate toilet with a sink. Upon arrival, the beds are made and towels are provided. French doors open directly onto the patio, where you’ll find a garden table with four chairs. Only point was, we were 4 adults. And the beds in the 2nd bedroom are very low, really suitable for children. But that will also be the case most of the time. Was also our own choice. Indeed, the reservation was later changed from 2 to 4. We were already happy that there were no bunk beds.
