The vacation apartment is located on a smallholding. We have three horses, two goats and some chickens, which are all looking forward to a few strokes. The musty smell and the clammy room climate could only be kept in check to some extent by conseuent ventilation on our part. The resulting cold had to be compensated for by intensive heating, so that the natural cottage effect was zero. The furnishings had probably been left in by the previous tenant and were somewhat careless.
