A salvaged half-timbered house from Thuringia was turned into a small half-timbered house in traditional construction in the Mecklenburg Lake District, Western Pomerania. Wood, clay and straw were used to create a tiny house with the space of a mobile home and a large terrace. A private garden area provides the necessary privacy for relaxing or having a barbecue. Even though the house is small, it offers everything you need to get through the day...fridge, hob, kettle, dining area, workplace, toilet, 2 single beds in the sleeping area with protection against mosquitoes...

The Tiny House is located in a small village just outside the Hanseatic town of Demmin. The Peene, a federal waterway, flows through the village. There is also a bathing area and a water hiking rest area about 10 minutes' walk away. The Tiny House is situated on the grounds of a listed house built in a similar style from 1740. The house overlooks the garden and the field behind it. In the morning you may be woken up by the neighbors' rooster, but the numerous songbirds are also quite ruthless in this respect ;)
