Unique place under the smoke of Amsterdam! Glamping on the lake in Vinkeveen! Camping in style and fully equipped. That is Glamping - Glamourous and camping in one! The safari tent is located directly on the Vinkeveense Plassen and is accessible via the public road. You experience the ultimate outdoor feeling by sitting with your feet in the grass or in the water. Put your bag down on the made bed and you are away from all the hustle and bustle. The safari tent is reached by parking the car and walking 300 meters on a beautiful paved path. There are carts available for carrying luggage and/or groceries. The safari tent is located on a private land of 200m2 and is only accessible to tenants. The size is 5 x 5 meters and 3.30 high. The total canopy is 5 x 7 meters and the wooden deck is 5 x 8 meters. So it is really camping but with all the comforts of home! The water is clear swimming water and great for diving.
Nature and surroundings
Whoever says Vinkeveen quickly says "The Vinkeveense Plassen. It is the most famous nature reserve around Amsterdam. And rightly so. It offers space to enjoy in boat or sailboat. Or on a SUP board or canoe. Or go fishing, water skiing, go diving or just take a dip in the crystal clear water. But the environment of Vinkeveen is diverse and is more than just water. Enjoy the Bellopad or Bat Path, walk through the new Wetland or through the gems Botshol and Waverveen. They are all beautiful walking routes with special beauty and natural-cultural-historical value. To relax or bird watch and just enjoy walking. Cycling through the Ronde Venen means cycling along meandering rivers, tight dead straight ditches, old forts, windmills, country houses, vast polders and meadows rich with birds. Thanks to an extensive route network you can easily map out your own route.
