The former barn of our home was transformed into a vacation home several years ago. The wooden beam provides authenticity, we kept the open space, to create a free feeling. The large window in the living space overlooks the meadow. In the living space there is a kitchen with a dining table and chairs with television. In the kitchen there is a microwave/oven, refrigerator and freezer. In the winter months, the house is filled with the cozy warmth of the pellet stove. The bathroom has a sink, shower and toilet. There is also a room with a separate sitting area with a soccer table. There is an enclosed private garden with a hot tub. You are also always welcome in the yard, the stables and the various sitting areas. Children can play with the indoor toys, in the sandbox in the vacation home garden, or they are welcome to explore in the yard. There is a go-cart available, wagon, scooters, outdoor toys.... Wifi is available free of charge.

The house is located in the Kempenbroek border park which is located over Belgian and Dutch Limburg. Your walking or cycling tour can start from the house. In the house you can find a number of hiking and cycling maps. Bicycles can be rented. Furthermore, there are a number of activities possible during your stay. Agnes, the hostess, offers you a pottery workshop. Mathieu, the host, offers horseback riding and carriage rides. The daughter, Sofie, will spoil you with fun donkey rides. Reserve your activity in advance.There is a bakery and vegetable/fruit store in the village, stores are 10min away by car. Nearby nature reserves: Maasvallei, Hoge Kempen.Other tips nearby: rose garden, water activities on the Maas, white town of Thorn, trip Maastricht, Roermond, subtropical swimming pool, children's walk, terraces, cycling among the trees....
