The cottage wasn't very clean. There were still mouse droppings on the floor, and the floor was sticky.
The bed linens and bathroom fixtures were clean, though.
The water in the shower didn’t drain properly, so the entire floor was flooded, and the adjacent bathroom was also damp after every shower (fogged-up mirror and toilet seat).
Outside, it was quite messy. What was supposed to be a patio had tiles laid haphazardly, and there was only a glass table with no chairs. And the garden surrounding the patio was full of stinging nettles.
After we went for a walk on Sunday, we decided to leave early.
If the cottage were better maintained, it could be quite a nice place to stay, as seen in the photos.

Het water in de doucheruimte liep niet goed weg waardoor de gehele vloer blank stond en de naastgelegen toiletruimte was na elke douchebeurt ook vochtig. (Beslagen spiegel en toiletbril)
Buiten was het nogal rommelig. Wat door moest gaan voor een terras lagen de tegels schots en scheef en er stond alleen een glazen tafel zonder stoelen. En de tuin rondom het terras stond vol met brandnetels.
Nadat we op zondag uitgewandeld waren zijn we dan ook vroegtijdig vertrokken.
Als het huisje beter onderhouden wordt valt er best iets leuks van te maken zoals op de foto’s te zien is.
De werkelijkheid was voor ons teleurstellend in verhouding tot de foto’s in de advertentie.
Zoals het huisje er nu uitzag zouden wij deze niet aanbevelen aan anderen.It was quiet there, and the surroundings were beautiful.
