Families will delight in our engaging activities, as children can explore the surroundings, feed the chickens and ducks, and join in the fun of mushroom picking. After a day of trekking, savour the delicious flavours from our organic garden, where we grow everything, from tomatoes and courgettes to baby potatoes. Visit in spring to help harvest delicious strawberries and raspberries, and enjoy a slice of Transylvanian bread with homemade vegan zacuscă. The area around our B&B is teeming with wildlife, including bears, deer, and mountain goats, offering an exciting educational experience for both children and adults.

Our location offers direct access to numerous hiking trails winding through lush forests and alongside bubbling streams where the melody of birdsong fills the air. During the summer, guests can soak up the sun in glacial lakes and alpine meadows or enjoy a peaceful picnic by the stream on our property. For the adventurous, bicycles are available for exploring the scenic trails and forest roads. In winter, the nearby Transalpina Ski Resort is just a 45-minute drive or bus ride away, offering excellent slopes for skiing enthusiasts. The region is dotted with spectacular glacial and artificial lakes, including the fairytale-like Lake Vidra, nestled among dense forests. These pristine waters are ideal for those seeking solitude and a deep connection with nature. Our area is also a haven for wildlife, with dense forests home to bears, deer, and other fauna, while the rich fish population in the Lotru River provides ample opportunity for fishing.
