Our recently renovated and very well maintained bungalow, with covered terrace, is located at Lake Grimnitzsee, perfect for relaxing, in the middle of the forest, 100 meters from the beach. Close to Berlin, perfect for a day trip! Ideal for swimming and other water sports, perfect starting point for bike tours, jogging, yoga and meditation, just relaxing. Mini golf, ice cream parlor and restaurant directly on the premises, 2 large supermarkets including bakery (also on Sundays!) within 500 meters (both Net markets and a new Edeka in the center). Quality butcher (Ortlieb), other restaurants (also take-away) and ice cream stores in the immediate vicinity. 20-minute walk to Joachimsthal train station. Bus stop in front of the door, Werbellinsee nearby. Eberswalde zoo is also very easy to reach by car. Top place, just great :) Towels, bed linen, baby travel cot and high chair are available on request. Now also with a barbecue!
Nature and surroundings
Our bungalow is located in the beautiful protected UNESCO biosphere reserve Chorin-Schorfheide! Only 45 minutes drive from Berlin! See also the pictures. Nature is omnipresent. Many wonderful lakes in the area, beautiful forests and for example fruit trees (mostly apple trees and pear trees) streets where one can pick freely. Also nearby: Wildpark Schorfheide, where many wild animals roam (all safe!) and where there is also a magnificent climbing park (Kletterwald am Wildpark Schorfheide) where all climbers will find what they are looking for.
