The "Trust" is a unique cargo ship from 1924. The ship is tastefully decorated and equipped with good beds. Shower and toilet are located in the bathhouse next to the boat, as well as a kitchenette with refrigerator and cooking utensils. Kalenberg is centrally located in National Park Weerribben-Wieden. The famous water village Giethoorn and the historic town of Blokzijl are within fifteen minutes, as well as the authentic nature reserve the Rottige Meenthe (Friesland), and fortified town of Steenwijk. Kalenberg is a ribbon village situated on the Kalenbergergracht. Half of the plots, including the one where you are staying, is not accessible to cars. You can park on the other side of the canal and then you will be pulled over by a boat upon arrival. Henk en Berien August 10, 2024 General rating:Sleeping on the boat was fine, beds are good. Most nights it cooled off well in the boat at night too.(We stayed there during a hot period) The bathhouse with shower and toilet was fine. There are also many places to sit outside.
Slapen op de boot ging prima, bedden zijn goed. De meeste nachten koelde het 's nachts ook goed af in de boot. (We verbleven er in een warme periode)
