Our Comfort single hotel room is a spacious 16m2 room with private bathroom (shower, toilet and sink) in the room. The room has a 120x200 bed, desk, kettle and a seat. A lovely room for a solo vacation on Terschelling or if you have to go to the island for work. Every morning we serve a delicious and changing breakfast in our restaurant. On the grounds, when the weather is nice, you can sit outside on one of the many terraces or in the relaxing garden. You can also dine in the restaurant in the evening only after advance reservation. of course there is wifi in the hotel and on the grounds.

Dichtbijzee in Oosterend is such a heavenly place! It’s wonderfully peaceful there, the rooms are clean and comfortably furnished, and in the morning you wake up to birdsong, there’s a beautiful, large garden with cozy seating areas, breakfast is plentiful with super-delicious warm rolls and luxurious toppings (including delicious homemade jam) served in or near the lovely sunroom, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. They’ve really thought of everything: rotating seating arrangements at a generously set table in the restaurant, washing machines and a dryer, flowers and fruit trees all around, beautiful bouquets on the tables, and a tastefully decorated interior. And the barking dog turned out to be a delightful cuddly bear who kept smiling at me. I’m afraid my enthusiastic review will cause the hotel to get overcrowded, and that from now on I’ll have to book well in advance—which is a shame for me, but I’m truly happy for these people!
