Nature house in Oosterend

Ik hoop in de toekomst weer een keer bij jullie te kunnen komen logeren!

Dichtbijzee in Oosterend is such a heavenly place! It’s wonderfully peaceful there, the rooms are clean and comfortably furnished, and in the morning you wake up to birdsong, there’s a beautiful, large garden with cozy seating areas, breakfast is plentiful with super-delicious warm rolls and luxurious toppings (including delicious homemade jam) served in or near the lovely sunroom, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. They’ve really thought of everything: rotating seating arrangements at a generously set table in the restaurant, washing machines and a dryer, flowers and fruit trees all around, beautiful bouquets on the tables, and a tastefully decorated interior. And the barking dog turned out to be a delightful cuddly bear who kept smiling at me. I’m afraid my enthusiastic review will cause the hotel to get overcrowded, and that from now on I’ll have to book well in advance—which is a shame for me, but I’m truly happy for these people!

Wat een paradijselijke plek is Dichtbijzee in Oosterend! Het is er heerlijk rustig, de kamers zijn schoon en prettig ingericht, ‘s ochtends word je wakker met vogelgezang, er zit een prachtige grote tuin bij met knusse zitjes, het ontbijt is rijkelijk met superlekkere warme broodjes en luxe beleg (waaronder verrukkelijke zelfgemaakte jam) in of bij de mooie serre en de beheerders zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Aan werkelijk alles is gedacht: wisselende zitplaatsen aan een royaal gedekte tafel in het restaurant, er zijn wasmachines en een droger, je bent overal omringd door bloemen en fruitbomen, prachtige boeketten op de tafels en een smaakvol ingericht interieur. En de blaffende hond bleek een heerlijke knuffelbeer die telkens naar me glimlachte. Ik ben bang dat het hotel door mijn enthousiaste recensie overvol raakt en dat ik voortaan ver vooruit zal moeten boeken en dat is weliswaar jammer voor mij, maar ik gun het deze mensen van harte!

It was a somewhat dark room in a complex with many more rooms, though it is neat and clean. There is possibility to hand in waste separately. There is still a fair amount of plastic used at breakfast. Foil and tubs with jam etc. enough space to store bikes and the possibility of luggage transport to the boat. all in all, fine for this week, but I will not go there again soon.

Het was een wat donkere kamer in een complex met veel meer kamers.
Het is wel netjes en schoon. Er is mogelijkheid om afval gescheiden in te leveren. Wel wordt er nog redelijk wat plastic gebruikt bij het ontbijt. Folie en kuipjes met jam e.d.
genoeg ruimte om fietsen te stallen en mogelijkheid voor bagagevervoer naar de boot.
al met al prima voor dit weekje, maar ik zal er niet snel nog eens heen gaan.

The location is good. Close to the beach and nature area. There is also a large garden at the residence.

De ligging is goed. Dichtbij het strand en natuurgebied. Er is ook een grote tuin bij de residentie.
