Set in a historic atmosphere, our manor house can accommodate ten people. Two bedrooms are furnished with double beds (one of which includes a crib), another bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed, and one room features three single beds. The kitchen and dining room on the ground floor provide everything you need for self-catering. A cozy reading nook, with a view of our meadows, invites you to linger. True to the motto “Living as in the days of the Emperor,” you’ll enjoy high ceilings in all the bright rooms and decorative pieces from bygone eras that recur throughout the furnishings. Of course, our guests are also welcome to stop by the Hofcafé at any time for a farmer’s breakfast.
Nature and surroundings
The Rouenhof offers many opportunities for “guest farmers” to get involved in farm life. But you’ll also find numerous recreational opportunities in the surrounding area, such as the historic Kriemhildmühle, the APX in Xanten, Irrland in Kevelaer/Twisteden, the Maasduinen nature reserve on the Dutch border, and the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer. We’re also happy to lend you bicycles—with or without electric assistance—so you can explore the Lower Rhine region.

If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount. After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:

• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refunded
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refunded
• on the day of arrival or later: no refund
