We warmly welcome you to our apartment with a stunning view of the expansive polder landscape in the rural surroundings of Aarlanderveen, near the Molenviergang (World Heritage Site). Come and unwind in the South Holland polder, with excellent cycling, boating, and hiking opportunities right in the area. It’s an ideal base for visiting places like Gouda, Amsterdam, Leiden, Keukenhof, Haarzuilens, or the beach. Aarlanderveen is located in the heart of South Holland’s “Green Heart,” making it an ideal starting point for both leisure and business trips. It’s a 30-minute drive from Schiphol Airport. Our apartment is fully equipped with a spacious living-dining room, a kitchenette with a fridge-freezer, one bedroom with a king-size box spring, and another with a generous double bed, as well as a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. Upon arrival, the beds will be made, and one set of bath towels per person and one set of kitchen towels will be provided. Additional sets can be rented if needed. You will be our only guests.
Nature and surroundings
Within the Green Heart of Holland, you’ll find vast meadows, peatlands, large ponds, lakes, and rivers, as well as historic villages and towns, forts, and farms, and a rich rural life with local products. Several hiking and biking trails have been mapped out around Aarlanderveen. De Meije, the Bentwoud, and Keukenhof are also easily accessible. At the location, you can also spend part of the day being creative—for example, capture your Green Heart experience with wool, on a wooden disc, or on a clog.
