Nature house in Deventer

The cottage state was pleasantly furnished.

Het huisje staat was prettig ingericht.

The cottage is in the owner's yard. From the house you overlook the place where the owner has parked two cars and where our car is also parked. So little nature, but the biggest disappointment was the fact that you are not allowed to cook in the house. Since we had booked 4 nights, we also brought groceries to cook in the cottage. We think that the description of the cottage should state more clearly that you cannot cook in the house.

Het huisje staat op het erf van de eigenaar. Vanuit de woning kijk je uit op de plek waar de eigenaar twee auto's heeft geparkeerd en waar onze auto ook staat. Weinig natuur dus.
De grootste teleurstelling was echter het feit dat je niet in de woning mag koken. Omdat we 4 nachten geboekt hadden, hadden we ook boodschappen mee om in het huisje te kunnen koken.
Wij vinden dat in de omschrijving van het huisje duidelijker aangegeven moet worden dat je niet in het huis kan koken.

The cottage itself is extraordinarily complete. From honey for tea, an umbrella on the coat rack, games and books, hand cream, to peppermints next to the bed. The owner is very nice and fine in her communication. I felt very welcome even though I was there during the holidays. Although my goal for quiet and peaceful holidays was not achieved, this was certainly not due to the cottage or the owners. So still highly recommended as far as I'm concerned. See you in February!

Het huisje zelf is buitengewoon compleet. Van honing voor bij de thee, een paraplu aan de kapstok, spelletjes en boeken, handcreme, tot pepermuntjes naast het bed. Helemaal top verzorgd! De eigenaresse is erg aardig en fijn in haar communicatie. Ik heb mij erg welkom gevoeld, ook al was ik er tijdens de feestdagen. Hoewel mijn doel voor stille en rustige feestdagen niet is behaald, lag dit zeker niet aan het huisje of de eigenaren. Nog steeds een absolute aanrader dus wat mij betreft. Tot in februari!

I didn't go out into nature much, so I can't say much about that. Something about the location: A Chinese restaurant is a 5-minute walk away. At 5 minutes cycling a small 'shopping center' with a jumbo, ah, pharmacy, hairdresser and bakery. Deventer train station is about 15 minutes cycling (easy route!).

Ik ben weinig de natuur ingetrokken, dus daar kan ik niet veel over zeggen. Wel iets over de ligging: Op 5 minuten lopen ligt een Chinees restaurant. Op 5 minuten fietsen een klein 'winkelcentrum' met een jumbo, ah, apotheek, kapper en bakker. Station Deventer is een kleine 15 minuten fietsen (makkelijke route!).

Only downside: the view of a stone yard and hedges.

Enig minpuntje: het uitzicht op een stenen erf en heggen.

A beautiful and luxurious house with all the trimmings in a beautiful setting. Very nice hosts, great beds, and everything super clean. Highly recommended!

Een prachtig en lux huis met alles erop en eraan in een schitterende omgeving. Heel aardige hosts, prima bedden, en alles super schoon. Een aanrader!
