Great cycling and hiking in the area, with some nice towns nearby. The same goes for Belgium and Germany.

Heerlijk fietsen en wandelen in de omgeving, leuke plaatsen in de nabijheid. Ook zo in België of Duitsland.

Spacious, fully equipped, clean, comfortable bed, unobstructed and expansive views, and pleasant communication with the host.

The interior of the house is very pleasant and tastefully decorated in a modern style. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house is bright and clean. Thanks to the large windows, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the garden and the surrounding area even from inside. The bedrooms feature excellent beds and very luxurious bathrooms.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Bianca. She showed us around the house and gave us some tips for walks with the dog in the immediate area.
Tip: Be sure to let them know in advance if you plan to use both bedrooms.

Het huis is binnen heel aangenaam en sfeervol ingericht in een moderne stijl. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het huis is licht en schoon. Door de grote raampartijen geniet je ook binnen van het prachtige uitzicht op de tuin en de omgeving. Slaapkamers met uitstekende bedden en zeer luxe badkamers.
Na aankomst heel vriendelijke ontvangen door Bianca. Zij heeft ons wegwijs gemaakt in het huis en nog wat tips gegeven voor wandelingen met de hond in de directe omgeving.
Tip: geef wel vooraf door als je van beide slaapkamers gebruik wil maken.

The natural surroundings are beautiful. From the cottage, you can take several nice hiking trails through the woods and across the open fields. The trails along the banks of the Maas are also easily accessible.
The cottage itself faces the road at the front, so that side isn’t particularly quiet. The back of the house, with its lovely large terrace, is in a very pleasant and quiet location with a beautiful view of the hills and the village of Geulle.
The pleasant terrace overlooks the lower-lying garden. Unfortunately, the garden isn’t directly accessible from the house, though it can be reached through a gate on the roadside next to the house. A staircase from the terrace down to the garden would make it absolutely ideal.
There is an unobstructed passage from the terrace to the front of the house and the road. For our dog, this was an unsafe situation, but it was easily resolved by placing a patio table in front of the passage. A small gate would help ensure better safety for dogs and (small) children.

De natuur in de directe omgeving is mooi. Vanuit het huisje kan je verschillende leuke wandelroutes lopen door de bossen en het wijde veld. Ook de routes langs de Maasoever zijn goed te bereiken.
Het huisje zelf ligt aan de voorzijde direct aan de weg waardoor die zijde niet echt rustig is. De achterzijde van het huis met een mooi groot terras is heel fijn en rustig gelegen met prachtig uitzicht over de heuvels en het dorpje Geulle.
Het aangename terras kijkt uit over de lager gelegen tuin. De tuin is helaas niet direct bereikbaar vanuit het huis, wel via een hek aan de wegzijde naast het huis. Een trap vanaf het terras naar de tuin zou het helemaal ideaal maken.
Er is een vrije doorgang van het terras naar de voorzijde en de weg. Voor onze hond was dat een onveilige situatie maar eenvoudig op te lossen door het plaatsen van een terrastafel voor de doorgang. Een hekje zou de veiligheid voor honden en (kleine) kinderen wat beter kunnen waarborgen.
