On the border of Friesland and Drenthe, is this nature house (2024) in the middle of nature, on a small park with in the middle and lake, The Gold Lake. Surrounded by the nature reserves Fochterloërveen and Drents Friese Wold is a true paradise for nature lovers and peace seekers. The house is newly spacious, modern, comfortable and cozy. There is underfloor heating everywhere and air conditioning in the room. It has a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, with nespresso coffee maker. There are two bedrooms with two single beds in each. The bathroom is modern with a large shower and has direct access to the bedroom through a sliding door. The room and the garden have a beautiful view over the fields where horses often walk. Should you require linen and towels, you can rent them for €12.50 per person. Nature and surroundings
This nature house is ideally located for exploring the nature in the area. Cyclists, hikers, birdwatchers and nature lovers can enjoy themselves here. The national park Drents Friese Wild is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands and offers sand drifts, forest, heath and stream valley grasslands.
