After a day of cycling or hiking in the beautiful Drenthe Landscape, you will completely relax in our luxuriously furnished studio apartment. It is a detached stone building next to the romantic wisteria-covered bakehouse in a yard on the outskirts of a village. The authentic stable windows contrast with the modern amenities of the living space itself. There is air conditioning, a kitchen with induction cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, combination microwave and all kinds of equipment for delicious cooking. The bathroom has underfloor heating, towel radiator, LED mirror and rain shower. You will sleep soundly on the fairytale king-size bed with organic mattress and down comforter (double/twin) with velvety soft bedding and lying on it you will look out over the farmlands and enjoy the colorful plants in your private backyard where you can vacation in all weathers under the canopy with lounge set, dining table, sideboard and barbecue.

Next door are the many hiking and cycling routes of the Drenthe Landscape where you can enjoy the beautiful nature. 3.3 km away is the nature and recreation area Schoonhoven where you can walk in the woods or swim in the lake. Afterwards you can have lunch or dinner in the Pavilion restaurant by the water. Our nature house is on the edge of the village center of Elim, with supermarket, bike rental, churches and pharmacy, and if you don't feel like cooking, you can visit Elim's Eethuis. For a cultural day out hop on the Hoogeveen-Coevorden line bus and visit Coevorden Castle, circa 1025. From Coevorden or Hoogeveen board the train to explore all of the Netherlands. As the archetypal province of our country, Drenthe has magical nature reserves, prehistoric dolmens and cozy brink villages, and in less than 25 minutes you drive across the border and are in Germany.
