Vacation enjoyment in Drenthe. This luxurious and spacious home (approx. 172 m2) is the ultimate experience. Surrounded on three sides by the Bargerveen and fully equipped. This nature house has recently been completely renovated and has a modern look. On the ground floor the living room with sitting area and dining table. The kitchen (overlooking the Bargerveen) is equipped with coffee maker, kettle, Senseo, dishwasher, oven / microwave combo, refrigerator and induction hob. Downstairs bathroom with underfloor heating, shower & bath and separate spacious toilet. On the second floor a large bedroom with double bed (180x210) and fitted wardrobes, a smaller bedroom with double bed (160x200) and two bedbunks on the landing (90x200). All windows are equipped with mosquito nets.The house has a south-facing garden of approx. 315m2 in the Bargerveen. Equipped with a garden set, parasol and deck chairs.
Nature and surroundings
The Bargerveen is a Natura 2000 area and belongs to the UNESCO Geopark De Hondsrug. A unique geological and archaeological area created during the Ice Age some 150,000 years ago. Where deer, pheasants, foxes, reptiles and all kinds of birds can be seen. Here in Weiteveen is "peace and quiet" in abundance. Enjoyment for the cyclist, hiker, birder, photographer, etc. Directly from home into nature and then a drink at Wollegras. In the vicinity is much to do; the sheepfold Weiteveen, Wildlands, the Veenpark, the Veenkoloniën, former camp Westerbork, fortress town Bourtange, the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum, various museums related to peat, oil and gas extraction. From Weiteveen, the rest of Drenthe is easily accessible. Whether by public transport or not. The bus stop is a few minutes walk away. Germany is just around the corner. culinary? Various eateries can be found in the immediate vicinity. In Weiteveen itself, and also in Coevorden, Klazienaveen and of course Emmen.
