Nature house in Werkendam

A charming place to stay, equipped with all the amenities and full of surprises, with all sorts of old tools.

Een karakteristiek onderkomen, voorzien van alle gemakken en steeds weer blijft verrassen met allerlei oude gereedschappen.

A nice spot, behind/below a dike where lots of cyclists ride by, often talking loudly to each other. I didn't find it bothersome.

Een mooie plek, achter/onder een dijk waar veel fietsers over heen komen, vaak luid praten met elkaar. Heb ik niet als een hinder ervaren

A very nice nature house, fully equipped. It was spotless when we arrived.
The weather wasn’t great, but that made it feel all the cozier inside.
The nature house was more spacious than we thought it would be based on the photos.
There was plenty of information available about the surrounding area.

Heel mooi natuurhuisje, van alle gemakken voorzien.Super schoon bij aankomst.
Het weer was niet best, des te knusser voelde het binnen.
Huisje was ruimer dan dat we dachten te hebben gezien op de foto’s.
Veel informatie over de omgeving aanwezig.

This nature house is surrounded by a beautiful stretch of Dutch countryside.

Een mooi stuk natuur van Nederland rondom dit natuurhuisje.

A 10 would mean perfection! That was close to the overall picture, but it just wasn't. Giving a 9.5 is not possible (but it is our actual judgment), so that leaves a 9 to give. I also don't think, by reading the guestbook, that perfection is possible.

Because everyone has his / her wishes. As tenants you are dependent on "the soul and bliss, that the landlords put in their nature house! My wife and I have experienced last week that that at Polderkeet The Pauluswel is in order! This nature house is on our list maybe one more time!

Een 10 zou perfectie betekenen!

Dat benaderde het totaalplaatje wel, maar was het net niet.

Een 9,5 geven is niet mogelijk (maar wel ons feitelijke oordeel), dus blijft een 9 over om te geven.

Ik denk ook niet, zo maak ik op, door onder andere het gastenboek te lezen, dat perfectie mogelijk is.

Want iedereen heeft zo zijn/haar wensen.

Je bent als huurders afhankelijk van 'de ziel en zaligheid, die de verhuurders in hun natuurhuisje stoppen!

Mijn echtgenote en ik hebben afgelopen week mogen ervaren dat dát bij Polderkeet De Pauluswel op orde is!!! Dit Natuurhuisje staat bij ons op de lijst misschien nog een keer!

A pretty much complete and also, because of the historical attributes, nicely decorated cottage, which has enough space for 2 people. Activities outdoors we generally always do in the morning hours, and then relax in the cottage / shelter. If you are lucky with the weather, as we were last week, then you move all those follow-up activities, which you want to do at home, to the (in the afternoon and evening hours) sun-drenched terrace. For us, again because of the beautiful weather, 6 out of 7 mornings also the ideal place for breakfast. Do you sometimes get unexpected visitors (2x a bunny) and also hear (and sometimes) see the many, different birds. Furthermore, a great base for cycling trips in the area and the choice is vast! The Biesbosch of course, but also the Land of Altena.

Een zo goed als volledig en ook, door de historische attributen, leuk ingericht huisje, dat voldoende ruimte biedt aan 2 personen. Activiteiten buitenshuis doen wij over het algemeen altijd in de ochtenduren, om daarna lekker te relaxen in het huisje/onderkomen. Tref je het met het weer, zoals wij afgelopen week, dan verplaatst je al die vervolgactiviteiten, die je thuis wilt doen, naar het (in de middag- en avonduren) zonovergoten terras. Voor ons, wederom vanwege het mooie weer, 6 van de 7 ochtenden ook de ideale plek voor het ontbijt. Krijg je soms ook nog eens onverwacht bezoek (2x een konijntje) en hoor (en soms) zie je ook de vele, verschillende vogeltjes. Verder een prima uitvalbasis voor fietstochten in de omgeving en de keuze is reuze! De Biesbosch uiteraard, maar ook het Land van Altena.
