Welcome to our 80m2 wooden nature house in the middle of the Graftermeerpolder near Alkmaar! The cottage is privately situated with an unobstructed view of the meadows. You have a private terrace overlooking the meadows and the rising sun and your own front garden. You can book a relaxation massage with Frank Nijkamp in the adjacent practice. The kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, kettle, 2 burner stove and kitchen linens. The bedroom is on the 1st floor and is 1.80 high. Double bed 1.60x2m. In the bathroom shampoo, hand soap, towels & hair dryer. Free WIFI, private entrance and private parking. Watch TV? Connect your own streaming service.Breakfast is not included. You can add a breakfast package for €24 that you can eat from for about 3 days. The package includes yogurt, bread, toppings and fruit.

Protected nature reserve the Eilandspolder is located right behind our cottage in Graft. There is a bird-watching hut a 10-minute walk from the cottage. Birdwatchers from far and wide come to this area. From early spring you can spot birds like the Black-tailed Godwit, Lapwing, Oystercatcher, Snipe, Redshank and Common Coot. Grasslands, sedges and water provide a varied landscape. The cottage is located between the meadows. The Alkmaardermeer is a 10-minute bike ride away. There are beautiful hiking and cycling routes in the area, such as the Migratory Bird Trail and the Ferry Route. To Castricum aan Zee you cycle within an hour. Unesco World Heritage Site De Beemster is a 10-minute bike ride away. In spring you can admire the tulip fields. Along the road you can buy delicious products. There are also farm stores.You stay close to the beautiful village of Graft-De Rijp. Alkmaar (9km), Hoorn (19km), Purmerend (10km) and Amsterdam (28km) are nearby.
