The cozy nature house is an outbuilding on the grounds of our farmhouse. The house has its own patio and a view of the orchard. Through the private entrance, you’ll enter the foyer, which features a separate toilet, bathroom, and infrared sauna. The living/bedroom area features a kitchenette, refrigerator, dining table, sitting area with TV, a comfortable double bed, and a two-seater sofa. During your stay, you’re welcome to use the garden with a fire pit and BBQ, and the pool during the summer months. Electric car charging is available for a fee.

Our cottage for two is located in rural Wapserveen, in southwestern Drenthe. It’s nestled between three national parks: the Weerribben near Giethoorn, Dwingelderveld, and the Drents Friese Wold. It’s the perfect base for exploring nature. From this nature house, you can easily walk or bike right into “de Bos,” as locals call this nature reserve. It’s beautiful in every season, with heathland, forests, farmland, and, of course, the hunebeds.
