The accommodation is on the first floor, accessible by stairs, so the view is spectacular.
Nature and surroundings
Our yard is located in the middle of the Schagerwad, a 100 ha nature reserve just outside Schagen. This area is known for its meadow birds. The black-tailed godwit, lapwing, oystercatcher and redshank are common guests in spring. In autumn and winter you can see teals, shovelers and hundreds of wigeons. During migration time, in late March/April, you'll see waders such as: bar-tailed godwit, sandpiper, snipe, ruff, curlew, golden plover, whitethroat, spotted redshank and greenshank. Groups of geese are present throughout the year.
