Lodge Women's Breath is a trusted place for women who long for healing, peace and genuine care. A place where silence, nature and attention embrace you, and where you can fully land with yourself without distraction. In the part of our rustic farmhouse from 1873, in the quiet Drenthe village of Ruinerwold, is my acclaimed lodging: a cozy bedroom/sitting room with a lovely double bed, cozy sitting area and fine desk space. Everything is excl. for one guest, so you can stay in peace. The private shower and toilet are near the lodging. The sauna and summer pool are available for an additional charge. Breakfast is included. Complete your soloretreat and book on site for €25 per day a surprising dinner, prepared with organic ingredients and products from our own vegetable garden and food forest - including dessert and two home-bottled drinks. Staying from 4 nights is possible, so you can optimally land, come to yourself and recharge. Feel welcome
Nature and surroundings
On the 7 km long pear orchard in Ruinerwold lies our large residential farm hidden among greenery. You can wander for hours through the beautiful rural surroundings where time has stood still a bit and where you are still greeted by the villagers. Villages such as Havelte, Dwingeloo and Ruinen are within cycling distance. In Ruinerwold itself there is a supermarket, an ancient café, museum farm De Karstenhoeve and some smaller stores. If you want more extensive shopping, then the cozy town of Meppel is a good option and the old Hanseatic city of Zwolle can easily be reached in 15 minutes by train. At 500m from the farm is a good bus service to Meppel and several villages. In Meppel itself is a train station. For hikers there are several hiking trails from the lodge to walk along beautiful, monumental farms. A little further away is National Park Dwingelderlveld.
