Classic Czech farmhouse, charming but also very old-fashioned. The house is beautiful, it is very charming. For sporty people who love the outdoors, to bring the dogs, BBQ/fireplace outside and also a lovely fireplace inside. No heating in the house, it can be chilly due to thick walls. The house on the other side of the meadow (Lipa) has a large wood stove, this house becomes warmer more easily. Other things to pay attention to: Nora house is a classic Czech cottage; charming, but it needs renovations. For example the kitchen (it works, but it's old - and ugly to be honest..). Even more important is a heating system; the house only has a fireplace in the living room -which is not really a heating system, just cozy. That is why we only rent it from May/June to Aug/Sep, depending on the weather. After that it starts to feel more like a camping experience ;-) Cold and damp. In summer the house stays cool for a long time, which then can be an advantage ;-)
Nature and surroundings
The house is situated relatively isolated. You can see some neighbour houses on a few hundred meters, but it's surrounded by meadow and forest. It has a fence around the garden so you can bring your dog(s). Big change on seeing wildlife like roedeer, reddeer, wild boar, etc. Simply take a look on the pictures, or ask me for more pictures!
