Nature house in Etten-Leur

A cozy little cottage with everything you need. And no TV, which we think is a big plus.

Net huisje met alles wat je nodig hebt. En geen tv, wat wij een groot pluspunt vinden.

A wonderfully peaceful setting. At most, you might hear a tractor passing by every now and then. From the porch, you can see deer and rabbits roaming freely.

Heerlijke rustige omgeving. Je hoort hoogstens af en toe een tractor voorbijkomen. Vanaf de veranda zie je hertjes en konijnen vrij rondlopen.

It's a nice little house, but some maintenance and a thorough cleaning would make it even better.

Op zich een prima huisje, maar onderhoud en goede schoonmaak zou het nog beter kunnen maken.

The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet spot with sweeping views.
The living room and kitchen are fine. The bedroom with the bunk bed is very narrow/small (actually not suitable for adults). In the bedroom with the twin bed, you can only get into the bed from one side.
The front door doesn’t open, so you have to go in and out through the sliding door.
There’s patio furniture on the porch—it’s nice to be able to sit there.
Unfortunately, the cottage wasn’t clean upon arrival, which was a shame. The host handled it well and made up for it, which was nice!
It was also nice that the beds were made upon arrival and towels were laid out. You do have to bring your own washcloths, though.

Het huisje staat op een mooie, rustige plek met weids uitzicht.
De kamer en keuken zijn prima. Slaapkamer met stapelbed is heel smal/klein (eigenlijk niet geschikt voor volwassenen). Op de slaapkamer met de twijfelaar kun je maar aan 1 kant het bed in stappen.
Voordeur kan niet open dus moet je door de schuifdeur naar binnen en buiten.
Op de veranda staan tuinmeubels, fijn om daar te kunnen zitten.
Helaas was het bij aankomst niet schoon in het huisje, dat was jammer. De verhuurde pakte het goed op en heeft dat gecompenseerd, dat was fijn!
Ook fijn dat bedden opgemaakt waren bij aankomst en handdoeken klaar lagen. Washandjes moet je wel zelf meenemen.

The cottage itself was in need of maintenance both inside and out and was not clean. It had been cleaned only superficially. There were four of us, and one couple had to climb over each other to get into bed. The bunk bed is only suitable for children, but even that is very cramped.

Het huisje zelf had binnen en buiten achterstallig onderhoud en was niet schoon. Er was op het oog schoongemaakt. We waren met vier personen waarbij een stel over elkaar heen moest klimmen om in bed te komen. Het stapelbed is alleen geschikt voor kinderen maar ook dat is zeer krap.

The cottage is located in a beautiful, quiet area, though there is some (pleasant) bustle from the business that’s run there; the host and staff are very friendly.

Huisje ligt in een mooie, rustige omgeving, wel wat (gezellige) reuring door het bedrijf wat gerund wordt, zeer vriendelijke gastheer en medewerkers
