Welcome to this nature house. Here you will find peace and quiet in and around this beautiful isolated stone bungalow on 750 m2 of land, where there are many sun and shade spots. The cottage is located between Vledder and Frederiksoord in Southwest Drenthe. Only 1 ½ hours drive from the west of the Netherlands. The cottage is located on a wooded small park without facilities. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed 160x200 and one with a bunk bed. 90x200 For the bunk bed you must bring your own bedding. Present: free wifi, television, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and oven-microwave combi. From the cottage you walk to the end of the park and walk straight into the woods and fields. Behind the bungalow is the natural ice rink of Vledder, a piece of beautiful nature, with frogs and salamanders. You can enjoy looking over the water there.
Nature and surroundings
From the cottage you walk (1 km) to the Brink village of Vledder (turn left), where there is a supermarket, drugstore, bookstore, butcher, restaurant, bicycle rental and the Museum of False Art. On Saturday mornings there is an organic market at the church. It is also a 1 km. walk to Frederiksoord (turn right) where the wonderful museum De proefkolonie of the Maatschappij van Weldadigheid (Unesco) is. The sea museum Miramar is located at the Vledderweg 25. The Bosbad van Vledder is right opposite the entrance to De Schure. You can read more about this in the practical information. The Brink villages of Diever (Shakespeare Theater and hunebed) and Dwingeloo are 8 and 12 km away. Both villages have good restaurants. On the Holtingerveld near Havelte you can make beautiful walks and admire 2 dolmens. See also: the information folder in the bungalow.
