Nature house in Bergambacht

This charming nature house is located in our rural garden on a quiet lane, next to a nature reserve and the Lek River. The nature house has a bedroom, bathroom, and living room with a kitchenette. Enjoy the great outdoors to the fullest on your own patio with an outdoor kitchen. It’s a wonderful place to unwind in both summer and winter: Fall asleep under crisp, clean linens and wake up to freshly baked (sourdough) bread, coffee, and the chirping of birds. The well-equipped kitchenette (inside) has a microwave and refrigerator. Outside, there’s a covered outdoor kitchen with cookware, a 2-burner stovetop, an air fryer, a steamer, a BBQ, and a garden fireplace. Next to the cottage is a lockable storage shed with a bike charging station. A full breakfast on the first morning is included in the price and can be tailored to any dietary needs. It will be delivered at a time of your choosing. On the other day(s), you can choose daily whether you’d like breakfast: light for €7 or full for €13 per person.

The immediate surroundings offer plenty of opportunities for biking, hiking, picnicking, swimming, and canoeing. Two bikes with front baskets (and a picnic bag) are available free of charge. From the cottage, you can walk through the garden and down the dike stairs directly into the “Buitenlanden” nature reserve, with its wildlife trails and various small beaches along the Lek River. The cottage is located in the heart of the Green Heart of the Netherlands, with its beautiful polders and centuries-old farms. Picturesque towns such as Schoonhoven, Nieuwpoort, and Vlist are within walking and biking distance. The cottage is located at junction 37 of the national cycling and hiking route network. Enjoy the peace, nature, and the outdoors to the fullest, while still being centrally located near major cities: Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft, Gouda, Dordrecht, and Amsterdam.
