The luxury vacation home the Bedstee is part of a former half-timbered farmhouse listed on the national monument list. The 18th century half-timbered barn was completely restored in 1997 and the compartments were refilled with original loam. Two spacious vacation homes were then created, of which the Bedstee is suitable for 2 to 4 persons. The rustic and luxurious vacation home is fully equipped. The house is completely and comfortably furnished. In addition, the Bedstee has a private entrance with its own terrace and lawn where you can enjoy the view of the hilly landscape. Since 2024, the apartment has a new bathroom with walk-in shower. You can also use an enclosed (e-bike) bicycle storage. For common use, there is also a playground for our younger holidaymakers. Here is a slide, swing and adjacent is the meadow with soccer field.
Nature and surroundings
The vacation home is located in the hamlet of Hurpesch, which belongs to the outskirts of Mechelen. Because of our unique location in the middle of the South Limburg hills, you can fully enjoy the green environment with vast meadows and forests. Also, due to the higher location in the hills, you have a unique view over the Geul valley between the villages Mechelen and Epen. Directly past the vacation homes there are various cycling and walking routes that lead you through the hills. Also the adjacent silence area near the Vijlenerbos is a must see for nature lovers. Of course, during your cycling or walking tour, you can take a break and enjoy one of the many terraces.
